i am ironman

okay i am not. but that was how the first movie ended, and how the second movie started. it is a great movie for anyone. action, humour etc etc. for a comic fanboy it is an absolute must-watch. the finale battle was kind of disappointing though. well we all know that ironman is going to win. but cant the fight be a little bit longer? feels like they ran out of movie budget. nevertheless it is a movie worth going to the theatres.

i find it funny how everyone else watches the movie. like how people watch spiderman. now there are 3 spiderman movies. before that, nobody gave a hoot who the hell spiderman is. the same goes for ironman, batman, superman,hulk, x-men or any other comic superheroes. the magic of the big screen sure is effective. before that comic book superheroes are just for kids. and i have to admit that i am seriously surprised to see girls going to the cinemas to watch these movies. wth?!

well the second movie adaptation for ironman did the comic justice. i really like the extreme detail they gave to the suit, down to the tiny little metal parts. (GEEK.)

people who watched the movie will remember the scene when tony stark isolated himself for the rest of the world to try to find the new element for his arc reactor. maybe he didn't do it willingly but it sure is effective huh. sometimes i wonder what it takes to achieve greatness. and even if you know the price, are you willing to pay it?

for people who liked the ironman 2 movie but is kind of clueless what the hell is going on. only if you are interested of course.

for people who stayed till after the credits. you would see members of S.H.I.E.L.D finding a hammer in the desert. at least i think so. i didn't stayed till the end. the hammer is a link to the next marvel comics movie adaptation - Thor. that hammer belongs to thor, the god of thunder. yes they are making a movie out of him!X100

after that another movie adaptation would be screened - Captain America. all these movies are lined up for a big epic movie saga. during the ironman 2 movie, you should have heard about the avengers' initiative. this is an initiative by S.H.I.E.L.D to form a group of the strongest superheroes in the marvel universe. that is why you see nick fury (Samuel L. Jackson‎, the guy with the eye patch) trying to recruit tony stark in the movie. Avengers is the "super- secret boy band" tony stark was talking about.

members of the avengers are always changing. partly because they got their own things to worry about. but the first few members were captain america, ironman, thor and hulk. and 2 other not so famous superheroes. other famous members that joined later includes spiderman and wolverine. yes. this is one mega big boyband that seriously kickass. kind of sounds like power rangers but without the matching colours.

and boy i cant wait for it to happen.

P.S. sorry for the second post in a row talking about freaking comics. i understand that it isnt exactly the most interesting topic around. i can so totally tell by seeing how many people tagged/say anything. :/ wth. thanks ah. but i wrote this blog post over the weekend and scheduled it to be posted tomorrow. but i decided to post this today instead. because i feel like writing a new blog post now. :P
