waiting for a train

"You're waiting for a train - a train that will take you far away.

You know where you hope the train will take you,

but you can't know for sure.

But it doesn't matter.

How can it not matter to you where the train will take you?

Now, tell me why."

the mentalist nightmare

omg. I had a nightmare last night. Whaddafark. I seriously watched too much The Mentalist. @!#$#$%^&$$^#%!$^%&# I dreamt that the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) were patrolling a building with long corridors and rooms. I have no idea what the #@$$ was I doing there. I was walking around, raising both of my hands to proof my innocence. Then I saw Grace Van Pelt. I felt something was wrong, so once I turned around the corridor I started sprinting like a dog. She gave chase. A fat man holding a queen sized mattress appeared out of nowhere in front of me. I bended down and slid underneath him. He gave the mattress a good swing and sent Grace flying into the air.

When she landed on the ground, I wasted no time and ran forward and gave her an elbow drop.

The amazing thing was that she was still alive and kicking after that hit?! I stood up and started running again. She came after me like I was her favourite ice cream.

The worse part was she caught up with me and dragged me to the floor.

Up till this point, it was pretty obvious to be that Grace Van Pelt had become a zombie and I was getting owned.

Then the weird part happened. I sort of realised that I was dreaming and wanted to get out of this #$@#$%$# dream. Somehow I managed to imagine my dad trying to wake me up. After a few attempts, I managed to wake up. o_o phewwww. *insert favourite swear word* what was that about?! For all those who don't watch The Mentalist, Grave Van Pelt is the prettiest in the show. Talk about dreams that are bad for you.

starred by Amanda Righetti

Dammit, can't I have dreams about something less dangerous? Maybe HIMYM or Big Bang Theory or even Glee. The freaking effing zombie thing was because my housemates and I watched Zombieland last night. ZZzz. But we watched Eurotrip too! Why can't I have dreams about that instead! ARGH.

BTW, Emma Stone so totally digs the black leather look. Sorry can't find a better photo, but you get what I mean. hawttt.

i am ironman

okay i am not. but that was how the first movie ended, and how the second movie started. it is a great movie for anyone. action, humour etc etc. for a comic fanboy it is an absolute must-watch. the finale battle was kind of disappointing though. well we all know that ironman is going to win. but cant the fight be a little bit longer? feels like they ran out of movie budget. nevertheless it is a movie worth going to the theatres.

i find it funny how everyone else watches the movie. like how people watch spiderman. now there are 3 spiderman movies. before that, nobody gave a
hoot who the hell spiderman is. the same goes for ironman, batman, superman, hulk, x-men or any other comic superheroes. the magic of the big screen sure is effective. before that comic book superheroes are just for kids. and i have to admit that i am seriously surprised to see girls going to the cinemas to watch these movies. wth?!

well the second movie adaptation for ironman did the comic justice. i really like the extreme detail they gave to the suit, down to the tiny little metal parts. (GEEK.)

people who watched the movie will remember the scene when tony stark isolated himself for the rest of the world to try to find the new element for his arc reactor. maybe he didn't do it willingly but it sure is effective huh. sometimes i wonder what it takes to achieve greatness. and even if you know the price, are you willing to pay it?

for people who liked the ironman 2 movie but is kind of clueless what the hell is going on. only if you are interested of course.

*spoiler alert*
for people who stayed till after the credits. you would see members of S.H.I.E.L.D finding a hammer in the desert. at least i think so. i didn't stayed till the end. the hammer is a link to the next marvel comics movie adaptation -
Thor. that hammer belongs to thor, the god of thunder. yes they are making a movie out of him!X100

after that another movie adaptation would be screened -
Captain America. all these movies are lined up for a big epic movie saga. during the ironman 2 movie, you should have heard about the avengers' initiative. this is an initiative by S.H.I.E.L.D to form a group of the strongest superheroes in the marvel universe. that is why you see nick fury (Samuel L. Jackson‎, the guy with the eye patch) trying to recruit tony stark in the movie. Avengers is the "super- secret boy band" tony stark was talking about.

members of the avengers are always changing. partly because they got their own things to worry about. but the first few members were
captain america, ironman, thor and hulk. and 2 other not so famous superheroes. other famous members that joined later includes spiderman and wolverine. yes. this is one mega big boyband that seriously kickass. kind of sounds like power rangers but without the matching colours.

and boy i cant wait for it to happen.

"And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroes and heroines found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, the Avengers were born — to fight the foes no single super hero could withstand! Through the years, their roster has prospered, changing many times, but their glory has never been denied! Heed the call, then — for now, the Avengers Assemble!"
— Prologue from The Avengers

P.S. sorry for the second post in a row talking about freaking comics. i understand that it isnt exactly the most interesting topic around. i can so totally tell by seeing how many people tagged/say anything. :/ wth. thanks ah. but i wrote this blog post over the weekend and scheduled it to be posted tomorrow. but i decided to post this today instead. because i feel like writing a new blog post now. :P

kickass!

i just watched kickass yesterday. it's my first movie in melbourne! well. the ticket cost me 14bucks. and i had popcorn. i wanted it to be an enjoyable time. and boy oh boy. kickass freakin rocks. lol. it's a story about a loser geek who got sick of his life and wanted to be a superhero... with no superpowers. and then the storyline complicates and then.. you have to watch the movie to find out. :P

after watching the movie i think i found my new crush.

okay it is kind of sick since Chloe Moretz is only 13. so technically it is not a crush. but she simply amazed me in this movie. her acting is amazingly superb. seriously. not to mentioned that she is only 13?! what's a 13 year old doing in a movie full of gore, sex and violence anyway?! not to mention she joins in the fray and goes around killing everyone. my goodness. she is the coolest badass 13 year old i know. Lyndsy Fonseca is in the movie too and she would be the typical pretty girl that i would go all crazy over with. but nope. Chloe Moretz outshines her with her acting and ruthless killings.

when i watched the movie i was shocked. totally not i was expecting. the amount of violence was #@$!#@$@#. wth seriously. 'kill bill' standard and not for the light hearted.

i loved the movie so much that i went to google it. apparently it is a marvel comic adaptation of the same name. i thought the movie was insane enough. what the fish. the actual comic is like 10 times crazier. sex and violence MAGNIFIED. it's seriously sick. i didn't even read the comic myself. i simply wiki-ed it and i had enough. as a comic fan, this comic aint my cup of tea at all. :/ and the comic didn't have a happy ending like the movie. ): and yes, for those who watched the movie, the movie's ending is actually considered 'happier' compared to the comic.

and the movie is somewhat thought provoking. sometimes we get all hyped up and doing something, wanting to do some real good to this world. to have a great sense of purpose. but we never really think it through and jump right start into doing it. in the end to our horrors we find that things aint always as simple as it seems. and in the end we do more harm instead of helping others. :/

good thing the movie has a somewhat happy ending. phew.

i included the movie trailer! watch out for the small girl with purple wig. that's my girl, Chloe Moretz! :D ISNT SHE COOL OR WHAT. oh yea, this movie stars Nicholas Cage too! which is also quite shocking. not the typical 'national treasure' kind of disney family movie if you get what i mean.

avatar

i just watched James Cameron's Avatar. mygoodness. do you guys know that the budget of the film is 300million USD?! it is probably the highest movie budget ever. well the movie kind of explains the heavy budget. practically the whole movie was created via computer generated graphics! the trees, the leaves, the rivers, the rain etc etc. it is so dam realistic! everything looks so real. down to even the reflections and the shadows.

well, i think the whole world watched the movie already so there's isnt any need for me to do a movie review. it is currently topping the US box office. enough said.

when are we going to wake up and take a look around us? our home is crying. it is dying. we are slowly killing it. why destroy the world we are born into. for survival? for food? for wealth? we all know that something needs to be done. too much talking. too little things done. and if i continue i am going to join them too.

well let me see you eat your green notes when famine strikes. or roar the engine of your sleek sports car while the sun burns us all.
