i swear my sister is dam swueyyyy. she did 14 history essays for holiday homework. and she completed it yesterday night. like phew finally. switched off the computer and decided to print today. we were kidding what if the computer spoils today she sure go bang wall etc etc. this morning.
WTF. WTF. WTF. OHMYGAWDDDDD. really spoil. SIMISAIIIIIIII.
wah seriouslyyyyy. and it sure didnt help even though she has one of the most tech-savvy brothers around. :/
windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupted:

you can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the orignal setup CD rom.
like.... WTF. out of the blue? ya gotta be kidding me. though i suspect its due to improper shutdown. but what are the chances?! sheeshhh.
so i went on a desperation search for the XP professional CD rom. and found out that i can only use the HP version since HP wisely modified their PCs. and only THEY HAVE THE CD. and who would have guessed everyone needs a break including HP so HP doesnt operate during weekends! nice one. and guess what i am going on a 3week confinement starting monday. talk about when it rain it pours.
so i passed a set of instructions to my sister. worse part is no guarantee the files can be recovered. ohmygawd. argh this just sucks.
oh i swear noel is dam nice cann. when he heard about it he said he is coming over with his laptop and volunteer to redo the 14 essays. after all 3 brains sure can work faster right.
hahah and xinyue volunteered too! even though shes like so far far far awayyyy.
but my sister doesnt want to redo lah. i think its because she put into a lot effort. :/ shucks.
oh wth now she agrees to redo. but she got physics test tomorrow. so i am supposed to redo?!? zzz... sheesh. secretly i hoped that she still cling on to the small ray of hope that the computer can be repaired. :/ ARGH.
oh what the heck what a way to spend your last day of civilization. tata~
oh for those who are wondering how come i can still come online and blog etc etc when my computer is down. oh come on how many computers do you expect a computer geek to own? one? heh. not that i think i am a computer geek though.
