last season they had the worse record in the eastern conference. now they are nba champions. biggest season turn around in history. it didnt happen by pure luck. sacrifices were made. blood, tear, and sweat put in.
paul pierce the captain of the boston celtics is the only player that is still in the team since 2003.
what is different from the previous season is the addition of kelvin garnett and ray allen.
paul pierce and the other 2 superstars constitute to the BIG THREE of boston. all 3 of them had something in common. all 3 of them are extremely talented players who played for teams that sucked. they carried their teams on their shoulders alone for many years. of course those teams got their rare glorious moments but they can only carry their team that much. every michael jordan had scottie pippen and dennis rodman. now finally the 3 boston stars have each other to lean and rely on.
i am a huge fan of kelvin garnett. this is his 13th nba season. he played in the nba for 13 long years and yet he has no championship ring. and he is surely worthy of one. in computer games his player ratings is 99 imagine that and there is no 100. thats how good he is. but i bet none of you guys ever heard of him ( you guys only heard of michael jordan lol ) thats because the media only talk about winning teams. who cares about a losing team sheesh. but kelvin garnett's career was ruined by his stupid team who chose players that are not so good ( i.e. sucked ) he can dominate opponent teams once in a while. but he couldnt do that every game. not alone.
he had a rather harsh nba career. including the death of his favourite teammate. shucks. but now after 13 long hard years. he finally recieved the recognition he deserved. his greatness is finally rewarded. hahah. thats why you see him almost happy to tears in the video.
ray allen arguably the best shooter in the nba finally won his championship ring in his 12th season.
paul pierce after weathering the storms in boston finally got rewarded in his 10th season. like paul pierce said. it had been 10 long hard years of tears, blood and sweat.
its good to see guys finally get what they deserve. isnt it?

finally after 22 long hard years. we are champions once again with our 17th NBA championship.
