its a personal oath

Tomorrow, mugger bankai mode on.

Which is ironic, it means that most probably this blog of mine would be active once again. Since I would be keeping away from facebook and msn, plus the fact that I still need my outlet for speech and social interaction, I just have to make use of this blog once again.

So, dear loyal fans come back! Stay tuned. (:

And Haoting, once again, MUGGER MODE ON.

school

I was typing a blog entry halfway then I decided to save it as draft and stop. I probably should go back to my notes. Zzz. All those tiny letters make my head spin.

First week of school was alright. I am still anticipating the wave of school work that is going to come.

Back to the books I go.

where are you now

After How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, a few episodes of South Park, a handful of movies and Glee, I finally found time to watch The Mentalist. Well, I am a huge raging fan of the tv series, but that is a story for another day.

I watched an episode today that showed a homecoming event. Apparently those reunion events are popular in the States. You know, XXX High School, Class of 1995, Homecoming. The venue is often the alma mater and they organise an event every 5 years. So that same class would have their third homecoming this year, 2010.

Unfortunately, due to the weird characteristics of human nature, these homecomings are usually just a mere platform for people to compete and compare their achievements in life. So every 5 years, there is a 'review' to find out who is still single and stuck at the bottom of the corporate ladder.

Having said that, I was just thinking how awesome would it be if Singapore had such a tradition, only because I come from a tradition chinese school. (No, seriously, don't argue with me on this one. Give it up and admit it already. I should be the one that is complaining about this, nobody believes that I am an AC boy.) It is a very conservative school that is very strict about moral values, or at least it tries to be. Okay, that didn't really come out quite right. I am not saying that other schools do teach moral values.

The one thing I like most about my school was how everyone knows everyone. Maybe it is a communist thing, but it is definitely a good thing. Some ages ago, there were a few RV photos posted on facebook. Those photos generated conversations between different people from different classes and CCAs. We are like one big community, one big kampong even. (Using the word 'family' here would be pushing it.)

It is just that when I imagine my batch of fellow students meet up during a homecoming, even though there would be a few competitive idiots showing off their latest achievements here and there, most of us would greatly appreciate and treasure the opportunity to catch up with one another. It would be.. fun. People talking about the good old days when we were once innocent, naive and childish kids. Seeing how everyone has changed.

Then again, I am guessing that maybe after 5 or 10 years, we would find out that after all these years, we are still very much those same kids that left those school gates.

Well, not coincidentally, adding 2 years in ACJC, 2 years in army and this year, it has been 5 years since I graduated from River Valley High School.

Don't get it wrong, I had a lot of fun back in ACJC. Maybe wait till I have graduated for 5 years from the school, then I would dedicate a post for the occasion.

This is a song from the movie, Bandslam. Now, before you start banging tables and cry foul, just play the video and listen to the lyrics. So guys, where are you now?

Exams are over

Hey guys. How's it going. My exams are finally over. They ended yesterday, the day when the Los Angeles Lakers became the NBA Champions 2010. I am very tempted to dedicate this entry to my dear Boston Celtics who suffered an utter defeat after a tough battle at the NBA Finals. Then again, seeing that this is my first entry after my long exam break. I shall... talk about something else or rather, bore you guys with something else.

I have actually thought of a few good topics to blog about. However the moment i start rattling i cannot stop. And I am not exactly in the mood for long entries. I shall go ahead withe mundane stuff then - me. LOL.

If any of you are asking, my exams went pretty alright. Logic was a bitch though. I did not finish the paper. It is more intellectual challenging than Biology, Chemistry and Physics combined. Like W.T.F? It is supposed to be my breadth subject, in the end it is the most brain draining one. I chose the subject because I wanted to learn something new and it looked interesting. Nice one, Einstein.

I am just glad it is over. Now I am just waiting for my beloved OCS section mates to come visit me in Melbourne. Abriel, Brian and Maurice. Brian is my OCS buddy by the way. He is coming all the way just to see ME. Aww. Isn't that cute. Not to mention leech off me. Ass. Okay kidding.

I think my first winter holiday in Melbourne is going to be a blast. I should get some reading done too. Hmm. That is a great idea.

I have heard some awesome reviews of Toy Story 3. woah. hmm.

I just watched the first 5 minutes of Law Abiding Citizen and I closed my window. Sickest movie ever seriously. Too intense for me already wth. After exams I should have watched something more light hearted, like HIMYM for example. I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 6.

Oh rats. This entry turned out pretty long itself. Oops. That would be all. Class dismissed.

End of semester

Short update. Exams are in 2 weeks time. ZOMG. Therefore, I don't really feel like saying much here. I am supposed to be studying in school but I am feeling hungry. Maybe I shall go home after this post.

I freaking hate it when people doubt my English just because my hair is not blond. effff off seriously. Oh come on. Okay I shall not waste time bitching about such trivial issues. I have other more important things to worry about.

My exams end on 18 June. The lengthy entries will be back by then. For now, all I want to say is:

"MY HEART LIES BACK HOME. I MAY WANT TO TRAVEL THE WORLD BUT ULTIMATELY SINGAPORE IS MY HOME. DONT EFFING INSULT HER."

Okay I am overreacting. However, that definitely made me feel much better. Tata.

horror in the library.

disclaimer: as you continue reading, try to use your imagination to imagine yourself in my position.

i was in the library today. i had my earphones on. it was cold so i had my hoody on too. i was hiding in the empty room that i found. muahahah. then i decided that it is time to leave. so i went on to facebook for awhile. so after typing a few facebook messages i was ready to leave. with my eyes still on the screen, i was watching my mac switch off as i took off my earphones. then i flick off my hoody in some dramatic fashion as i heaved a sign of relief. then at that very moment i heard a loud laugh from the door. i looked up and i saw a girl running out of the door. she left so fast that i couldn't really see her face.

wtf?! talk about creepy?! HOW LONG HAS SHE BEEN STANDING THERE?!

i packed my stuff and left the room and tried to look for her because i remember what she wore but i couldn't seem to find her. wth. this is giving me the creeps. WEIRDDD.

what's really pissing me off is in that split second of 0.0000001ms when i thought i caught a glimpse of her face, she didn't look pretty at all. zzz. so it's more of like a nightmare. :S
