that was unintentional.

so i have migrated from eblog to blogger for so long already huh.

many times i had compared myself with peter parker.
the man they call spiderman.

compared to his cool spidey powers.
i have technical skills and knowledge instead.
and yet his job as spiderman is so similiar to mine in mrc.

being spiderman at first was fun.
having all the new cool powers and all that.
then peter decided to use his powers to help people.
and so did i.

initially the sense of achievement is pleasant.
no one was there to appeciate.
but peter knew that was the right thing to do.
and the sense of accomplishment is enough to motivate him.
it was the same with me.

like a superhero. the working hours for mrc is considered odd hours.
though spiderman works alone.
and i got my crew.
video editing is a field only i am trained in.
my field.
and i had worked for odd hours rushing over videos.
2 nights straight even with 5 hours of sleep or something.
or even getting out of hospital and continue video editing after one day of rest.
many a time i tried teaching my peers to help me.
but in the end i am the best man for the job.

other schools got a cca called ava for video stuff.
and here i am doing everything alone.
other schools their ava club get paid.
me?
i get cip hours, fatigue, a couple of thanks, misunderstandings and tons of unfinished homework.
oh yarh and a few F grades.
what gives.

then things start to spin out of control.
for me and for peter. for the same reasons.
i got torn in between my job in mrc and my student life.
and peter got torn in between his spider life and his own life.
mrc tends to come before academic and everything else.
i get nothing in return for doing mrc except maybe lesser time to do homework.
but its my responsiblity.
if i dont do it.
who do it.

when a teacher requests for a video to be done.
i cant turn him down right?
then i tried puting my student life first and go for basketball.
and everything starts screwing up even more.
remember that part in the movie peter gave up spiderman for a while.


when spiderman fights green goblin.
and a passerby got killed in the fight.
green goblin is the bad guy.
spiderman is trying to protect people.
but spiderman got into the blame too.
he didnt want it to happen too.

when mrc screw up.
everyone start grumbling.
they forgot we are humans too.
we didnt want to screw up too.
accidents do happen.
nobody wanted it.

they forgot what if spiderman wasnt there.
what would green goblinm do.
they forgot what if mrc wasnt there.
how can their event go on in the first place.

when i want to cut down some slack.
people start to say i slack.
when spiderman decided to quit.
everyone says he is irresponsible.

when a passion becomes a responsibility.
when peter tries too hard to please everyone.
it always backfires in the movie.
everyone including his friends start to hate him.

spiderman works in the dark.
thats what mrc is known for too.
we rarely get appreciation.
people step on us like a door mat and depends on us.

others may think having spider powers are fun.
but sitting in the video room and not seeing the sky for 2 days straight.
is no fun.

spiderman is tired. and tries to give up many times.
but the respomsiblity that weights him down keeps him going.
he cant let the mouths start talking.


many may disagree with what i said.
and many may misunderstood what i said.
many may wonder i said.
but no one understands spiderman until they watched the movie.

and i have yet many to say.
but it all doesnt matter anymore


for 2 weeks later i shall hide my spiderman suit deep in my closet.
for 2 weeks later.
i will be spiderman no more.


for now i need to ponder over the future.
for who will take care of the friendly neighbourhood after i am gone.

haoting signing in for a daily update on blogger!

lets see today i went je library.
i set my handphone alarm at 930am.
but i keep tabbing the snooze function.
so i snoozed till 11am.
=P

then i heard tot the library.
first thing i did.
head for lunch.
hahahah.
then 6 people squeeze one table.
watched family guy on yvonnes ipod.
hilarious man seriously.
then was too bored and sleepy.
so headed home.

okie wait i can feel something missing.
OH YA.
i studied la.

one more thing jian ming bought this dairy chocolate sweets.
yep. the magic words CHOCOLATE.
its just plain milk chocolate the size of a mentos.
but its still good.

then went to crystal jade at causeway point for dinner.
well i think i can seriously change this blog to a food blog.
because i am going to introduce the dishes i had!
wahahahah.

first dish.
jellyfish!!
have u guys ever tried jellyfish before?
its a must man.
not the crystal jade jellyfish.
but ANY jellyfish.
its dam dam dam nice.
kind of exotic taste.
hah. its like an appetizer.
to really start the stomach growling and the saliva dripping.
it got a unique texture.
kind of like chewy chewy stuff.
served with seasame oil and chilli in crystal jade.
but avoid the sauce though.
its plain sour. unless u like sour food=/

deep fried toufu with szechuan sauce.
u guys are in luck i took a shot with my handphone.


the way the deep fried the toufu is real special.
looks like pork floss right.
looks kind of wavy wavy close up.
it taste alot better then it looks. heh.
think its due to the lousy lighting and the camera angle. oops.
its a must try at crystal jade. cost $9.80
LOL. i think i should charge crystal jade for advertising fees.
the sauce contains. i guess tomatos? and minced meet.
its kind of mild mild sweetness.
because your would not like to have a sauce with a strong taste which will overpower that of the toufu right.
the toufu is CRISPY CRISP.
and abit spicy.
taste great.
feel generous on the sauce because they provide quite a big bowl of it.
addition that the sauce isnt too sweet.
the only downside of this dish is there is only 6 pieces of toufu.
talk about expensive.
but the toufu also rather big la.

then there is the pepper beef.
okie by this time i already have my hands full with the food so no more photos.
hahah.
wah the beef meet is darn pink.
but theres no bloody smell.
the cubes of beef are rather big.
but i hate the green pepper and red pepper.
u know not the spice.
the vegetable/fruit.
they used to have it only with black pepper.
that was great.
sigh.

last and least =/ is the claypot mixed vegetable.
sounds plain right.
actually its quite nice la.
the cool thing is they cooked the broccoli till soft.
but the colour is still like dark green.
most of the time when u cook vegetable till soft the colour become yellowish.
the sucky part about this dish is the small shrimps la.
the small dried salty shrimps.
i think its considered a spice.
there is like overload of it.
yucks.
i dont hate it but its tooo many.
